site, the form of the building is intentionally distinct from
the traditional fabric of the city both as an expression of
the building’s status and civic importance within the
city. the travertine clad shells ‘cloak’ the building
forms as an expression of the spirit of playfulness, theatricality
and allusion of the events contained within. |
